exploring the outdoors to reduce stress

TRavel

This blog, I decided to share a travel blog instead of writing about a local hike on Vancouver Island.

I think it’s important to think about how diverse the world is. We are so absolutely lucky to be living in a place where we have all types of of terrain at our dispense. I want to share a few beautiful experiences that are so absolutely more different than the place we call home.

The first place I experienced was Paris, France, with my wonderful mother. I have never seen anything like it. To anyone who hasn’t been, it has the most ‘European’ feel. It has stone walk ways and very narrow streets, cafes at every corner, and the beautiful sound of the French language everywhere. And let’s not forget the most amazing art in the world.

The second place I will be discussing is Tulum, Mexico. Many of us have been lucky enough travel to Mexico but for those who haven’t, it’s full of lavish jungles and amazing plant/animal life. The ocean is absolutely crystal clear and there are hundreds of caves with fresh water.

The last place I would like to mention is very special to me, it was where I was born and where I grew up, a beautiful place called Ukraine. I have so many amazing things to say about this as it happens to be my home. The way places can make you feel nostalgic and at home is an amazing thing to experience. To have a sense of place and belonging is so important and this place is home.
